Trio Paradis Concerts - A ‘Co-Promotion’ Event
All first Wednesdays in the Month at 11am, with the café open from 10.30am
Admission is free with a retiring collection.
Each concert is informal, with café-style seating and lasts just under an hour.
Trio Paradis are – Jacquelyn Bevan (piano), Lisa Betteridge (violin) & Linda Stocks (cello) – a classical piano trio formed in 2009 who specialise in performing music by women composers.
Wednesday 5 August - Shall We Dance? From waltzes to pavanes, boleros to the Charleston, guaranteed to get your toes tapping.
Wednesday 2 September - Tango! A short chronological history of the tango, with a few surprises...
Wednesday 7 October - From Dawn to Dusk Music inspired by morning, noon and night.
Wednesday 4 November - What's in a Name? Who is Sylvia? ... and other muses, and a collection of unfortunate names.
Wednesday 2 December - Winter Landscapes including Rachmaninov's Vocalise and music by Purcell, Schubert, Debussy and Palmgren.
