For three decades, Baka Beyond has been a pioneering force in world music. With a multicultural lineup from Congo, Sierra Leone and the UK, they create an irresistible, joyous sound by fusing the rhythmic traditions of Baka Forest People with the melodic soul of Celtic folk.
Formed after founders Martin Cradick and Su Hart lived with the Baka Pygmy people, their music is both a celebration and a means of direct support, with royalties funding projects in the Baka's Cameroonian homeland.
The band welcomes back drummer Clyde Kramer after a 6-year absence, adding his powerful dynamic to their celebrated live performances and contributing to new recording sessions for a new album to be released in 2026.
